MG TD needs finishing...................Built in 1950 and used by a government department til 1956.............then registered to its first private owner and has had only one other keeper subsequently. The car was picked off the assembly line in 1950 and had the 1250cc engine replaced with a 1500cc unit, this is documented by Abingdon, {we have a copy} .
In the last 10 years it has been subject to a restoration that has now stalled however, we have had the car painted and loosely assembled it to give interested buyers an idea of what remains to be done. The engine and box are stock MGA and the list of new parts is considerable..............new leather seats........new headlamps, new wood floors, new carpets and the list continues. A reasonably straightforward project with no major works required. Registered with its correct number from 56 and we have the V5 in place.......very good value for money.
