This beautiful 1970 MG B MKII Roadster underwent a nut and bolt restoration in 2012. This included professional removal of all corrosion and fit of new body panels before being properly prep'd and painted in Glass Black which still looks as new today.

The restoration also included strip down of all mechanical parts with the engine being rebuilt with hardened valves. A new alternator and ignition coil were fitted and the SU carburettors fully reconditioned. The gearbox and overdrive were serviced and a new clutch fitted along with a new exhaust, new radiator, new petrol tank and a completely new braking system (pipes, shoes, pads, callipers etc.).

All of the brightwork was replaced with new chrome and spinner wire wheels fitted complete with new tyres. To top it all off, the interior has been totally replaced with high quality leather, new carpets and a new hood in contrasting red.

Post-restoration, the car has benefitted from further regular enhancements including fitment of a Lumenition electronic ignition kit, new front and rear road springs and inertia seat belts.

The car has lived indoors since its restoration with MOT and regular service records showing little more than 5,000 miles travelled since the works.

The extensive history file includes some service and MOT records dating from the early 1970s and what we believe to be the purchase receipt for the car’s second change of ownership to a Mr Seabrook of Northamptonshire who benefitted from a trade-in allowance of £380 for his 1965 MG Roadster!

This is a great motor car in excellent condition: a real head-turner that's ready to be used and enjoyed!

NOTE: the car will be sold with a new MOT
