This adorable little Frogeye conversion is the perfect summer roadster. Whether winding through the English countryside or cruising to the local show this attractive usable classic is just the job.

Sitting on a 1970 Midget chassis – aka a Mk2 Sprite – the car is made-up of professionally produced fibre-glass body panels. Whilst not concours, the fitment and white paintwork is very good and presents really well with no cracking or obvious flaws.

Power is supplied by a single SU carburetted 1275cc ‘A’ Series engine which is transverse mounted. Not only does this give nice, light front-wheel drive but saves a massive amount of engine bay and cockpit space…with no gearbox tunnel and over a foot of spare bulkhead space this little two seater feels quite spacious with driver and passenger actually able to get in and out without becoming contortionists.

The inside is unfussy but comfortable and trimmed to a good standard in red vinyl. Period gauges and switches are nicely mounted and practical. The black removable hood is in excellent condition.

Only recently completed, we believe the car has travelled only a couple of hundred miles since its conversion.

More practical, comfortable and a fraction of the cost of an original Frogeye, this conversion is ready to go and be enjoyed!
